Graphic Designer

Easy Signs is Australia’s fastest growing signage and wide-format printing company, and we’re on the hunt for another awesome Junior Graphic Designer to join our talented creative team!

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:

  1. Reviewing customer artwork to ensure it’s print-ready.
  2. Creating clear, professional artwork proofs and sending them to clients.
  3. Designing signage based on customer briefs.
  4. Setting up artwork to meet our precise production specifications.
  5. Communicating with both our Sales Team and customers via phone and email.
  6. Processing a high volume of daily orders, most designs are completed in 10–30 minutes.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

  1. A Diploma of Graphic Design or equivalent industry experience.

The Details:

  • The hours for this role are 10:30am - 7pm (Monday to Friday)

Let’s get into a bit more detail about the role…

On any given day you will:

  • Assist with processing customer orders via email as well as our easy online ordering system
  • Provide quotes to customers on our wide range of signage products
  • Resolve problems over phone and email, and work with customers to ensure they have a positive experience with Easy Signs
  • Discuss artwork requirements with customers
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering all the standard questions such as… How long will this product take to make? When will my sign be delivered? How are you guys the most amazing sign company I’ve ever dealt with?

Well here is what we need from you:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be communicating with internal and external stakeholders every day and all of this communication needs to be well written, friendly and professional
  • A thirst for learning! We have a wide range of products and variations of those products; the more you can learn about them, the more efficient you will be and the quality of your service will increase!
  • Computer skills; you’ll need to be computer savvy to navigate various software platforms
  • Strong organisation skills; you’ll need to be able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
  • Flexibility; we run multiple shifts across our sales & support team. As such, sometimes we will need you to start earlier or finish later to ensure we hit our service targets or cover for someone on leave.

What we’re offering

  • The shift we’re hiring for is 10:30 am - 7:00 pm Monday to Friday (38 hour week)
  • $33.32 per hour + overtime. Overtime is sometimes required during peak periods and will be paid at penalty rates
  • Monthly catered team lunches
  • Full training and continued support.

We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our software engineering function through its next stage of growth and modernisation.

This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for translating technical strategy into execution across a growing engineering team supporting mission-critical systems used throughout the business.

You’ll lead a team of software engineers, developers and QA specialists responsible for the systems that power our online ordering, production workflows, automation, integrations and operational platforms across both AU and US operations.

About the Role

As the Software Engineering Manager, you’ll play a key role in:

As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a skilled Print Operator to join our dynamic afternoon shift team at our Smeaton Grange facility. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating our state-of-the-art HP Indigo 6K+ Digital Press to produce high-quality print materials for our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operate and maintain the HP Indigo digital press to produce high-quality prints on a variety of small-format substrates, including paper, cardstock, and specialty materials.
  • Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot the HP Indigo press to ensure optimal print quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor print jobs throughout the production process to maintain consistent colour quality and accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the printer to ensure continuous, trouble-free operation.
  • Review job specifications, prepare files, and ensure correct materials and setup to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage print production schedules to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major problems to technical staff when necessary.
  • Keep accurate records of production and machine usage, including waste and ink consumption.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience operating digital printing presses, preferably with HP Indigo printers or similar digital press systems.
  • Strong understanding of small-format printing processes, colour management, and print materials.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
  • Familiarity with prepress software and file preparation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality prints.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in a print production environment is a plus.
