  • What shapes do you cut Signflute™ signs?

We can cut Signflute™ signs into a range of convex geometric shapes including:
    - Squares or Rectangles
    - Circles
    - Triangles
    - Hexagons
    - All of these shapes can have curved corners (you would need to advise the radius you would like for the rounded corners)

  • What radius do you recommend for rounded corners on Signflute™ signs?

The radius of the rounded corners can be specified by our customer to suit the design of the sign. We normally recommend 30mm as a suitable radius.

  • How long do Signflute™ corrugated plastic signs last?

It all depends on UV Exposure. However our new generation Signflute™ corrugated plastic and advanced printing technology provides a longer life expectancy than other lower grade corrugated plastic materials on the market. If the signs are always outdoors and exposed to UV, the life expectancy has increased from around 12 months to over 15 months. If they are indoors they will last for years!

  • Why are clear eyelets better than the old metal eyelets?

Clear eyelets are the latest in eyelet technology. The old metal eyelets would block the graphic on your sign and be very noticeable - but you can see straight through the clear eyelets. This allows you to see more of your graphic on the sign as the clear eyelets are barely noticeable. The clear eyelets are also just as strong as the metal eyelets but will not rust. The signs look significantly better with the clear eyelets.

  • What size are the clear eyelets?

Our clear eyelets have an external diameter of 25mm and an internal diameter of 12mm

  • Should I specify the direction of the flutes?

It is important to let us know if you need the flutes to run in a particular direction. This could apply if you are using the corrugated plastic sign with ground spikes (in which case you would need vertical flutes so the spikes can slide into the flutes), or if you are attaching the corrugated plastic sign to a single vertical post or telegraph pole (in which case you would need horizontal flutes to provide extra strength and prevent the sign bending around the pole). If you do not specify a flute direction the signs will be made with the flute direction that provides us with the best yield.

  • What is the difference between Signflute™ and Corflute®?

Our Signflute™ Corrugated Plastic material is imported, whereas Corflute® Signs are the genuine Corflute® corrugated plastic product which is manufactured in Australia by Corex. Both materials are printed on our UV flatbed printers in our Sydney manufacturing warehouse using the same inks and printing process. The extra UV inhibitors in the Corflute® material can give you 30% longer lifespan than the imported product; we expect the Corflute® Signs to last 2 years, whereas the Signflute™ Corrugated Plastic Signs are rated to last 12- 15 months depending on the amount of UV exposure they receive.

  • What is the largest size my sign can be?

The maximum sheet size is 2400mm x 1200mm - however we can make any size sign you require by supplying multiple sheets.

  • How do I order my signs cut to shape?

To get a price for your signage to be cut to shape, enter the maximum height and width in the instant pricing calculator above and select “Custom Contour” in the Cutting dropdown. When creating the artwork, we ask that it is set up with a vectored cutline as per our artwork specifications.

  • I have multiple designs, are there extra setup fees?

Yes, our price includes the set up cost for 1 design only. If you have multiple designs for the same size you will still get the lower bulk price, however there is a small multiple artwork charge applied for each additional design to cover our extra set up costs. Simply enter the total number of signs required and then the total number of designs into the pricing calculator above - and it will work out an accurate price for you.

Environmental Considerations

Environmental Considerations

Signflute™ is made from polypropylene which is a recyclable plastic resin. The plastic resin is identified as a category 5 product and most local councils will offer to recycle these products, please check with your local council on how to do so. The clear plastic eyelets can also be recycled in the same way.

The UV inks that are used on the Durst P5 printer meet the following certifications:
  • UL GREENGUARD Gold Certified - Certified for low chemical emissions during production

All Signflute™ waste that occurs throughout the printing process at Easy Signs is recycled with a third party company where it is granulated and used to make new corrugated plastic sheets, meaning that no waste ends up in landfill!

Product Reviews

Official Signflute™ Printer

Official Signflute™ Printer

Signflute™ corrugated plastic has been specifically developed to match the demands of the new high speed flatbed printers and inks.

The corrugated plastic material needed to improve at the same rate as the printers to ensure maximum adhesion of the ink to the substrate. The older styles of corrugated plastic were found to be unsuitable for these high tech flatbed printers. They did not have the adhesive properties required - so the ink would just crack and fall off them after a short time!

Our exhaustive testing of many brands of corrugated plastic has shown that Signflute™ corrugated plastic - with it’s smooth surface and very high dyne levels - provides us with the highest quality print results and ink adhesion.

State of the Art Printing Technology

State of the Art Printing Technology

Our Italian-made, state of the art Durst P5 printers are at the cutting edge of world printing technology, rated amongst the fastest in the world, providing outstanding print quality at lightning-fast printing speeds!

Lowest price and highest print quality don’t usually go hand in hand - however, the Durst printer’s super fast printing speeds have allowed us to reduce our printing costs and printing times, and pass the savings and reduced turnaround times onto you!

Precision cutting

Precision cutting

Our Kongsberg digital flatbed cutters cut all of our corrugated plastic signs and ensures that the signs are cut to the exact size required - and with perfectly cut edges.

No more of the old hand-cut corrugated plastic signs which inevitably had rough edges and inconsistent shape and size! The flutes in the corrugated plastic material make it too difficult to manually cut accurately - you need high tech machines to make perfect cuts.

Our digital flatbed cutters take away all the human error from cutting. They are fast and accurate and ensures that our finished Signflute™and Corflute® corrugated plastic signs look amazing!

Perfect colours every time!

Perfect colours every time!

Our colour management system ensures that all of our printers print the correct colour every time.

As part of our colour management system, we have profiled all of our printers and materials to print to the ISO12647 colour standard. We also implement weekly colour checks on all printers to ensure the accuracy of the colours we are printing for our customers.

This makes sure that your colours are printed perfectly - for every order.

Our eyelets never rust!

Our eyelets never rust!

Rusty metal eyelets are now a thing of the past!

Clear eyelets are now standard on all of our products - at no extra charge!

Have you ever seen metal eyelets on signs and noticed how they detract from the aesthetic quality of the sign? The ring of the metal eyelets hides the printing and intrudes into the graphic - and can even rust!

Clear eyelets make the signs look amazingly better. As they are clear you can see right through them to your graphic - and the thermoplastic polymer material is as strong as metal and will not rust.
