We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Afternoon Shift Production Team Member to join our dynamic team in Smeaton Grange. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.


About The Role

  • Laminating signs to ensure durability and high-quality finish.
  • Laying up products accurately for production and ensuring the proper alignment of materials.
  • Cutting and shaping signs using the Biesse CNC routers, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and targets.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following safety protocols at all times.
  • Managing sign production timelines and ensuring projects are completed within deadlines.

About You

  • Availability to work 2pm-10pm.
  • Previous experience working in a printing or manufacturing environment will be highly favoured.
  • Licence to operate forklifts will be highly favoured.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously.
  • Keen, reliable and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise cutting, shaping, and laminating of signs.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong focus on safety and delivering results.Previous experience working in a printing or manufacturing environment will be highly favoured.

About the Role:

Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, this role will see you completing a variety of warehouse activities including but not limited to:

  • Supporting safe and productive storage of parts within the main warehouse and outside storage areas
  • Picking & packing duties, stocktaking and cycle counting
  • Receipting, ensuring quality checking of product coming into the facility from outside vendors
  • Ensuring compliance with all record keeping requirements
  • Carrying out processing on Easy Signs inventory management systems
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles manually and forklift-assisted
  • Warehouse Cleaning and maintenance of products

About you:

  • Availability to work afternoon shift (2-10pm)
  • Holds a drivers licence and preferably a forklift licence
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial warehouse
  • Experience using inventory management systems highly desirable
  • Be a self-starter with a can-do attitude

We’re seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Smeaton Grange manufacturing site. You’ll run the floor, support team leaders, solve problems quickly and ensure work is completed safely, on time and to quality standards.

This role is key to driving efficient processes and leading operators to deliver consistent results in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee day-to-day production across multiple areas
  • Coordinate labour, workflow and shift coverage

We’re looking for a proactive HR & Safety Advisor to join the team in a true hybrid role, supporting both workplace safety and core HR operations. If you enjoy being on the ground, solving problems and making a real impact across people and processes, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

Safety

  • Manage workers’ compensation cases end-to-end, including lodgements, case reviews and return-to-work plans
  • Coordinate and support WHS audits across office and production environments
  • Maintain and update Safe Work Instructions and safety documentation
  • Prepare monthly safety reports and facilitate Safety Committee meetings
  • Coordinate safety training (including fire safety and CPR) for appointed Safety Officers
  • Deliver toolbox talks and internal safety training sessions
  • Conduct WHS inductions for new starters

HR

  • Run HR inductions and support onboarding
  • Support end to end recruitment for operational roles
  • Manage offboarding and exit interviews
  • Oversee the HR inbox and provide timely support to employee queries
  • Maintain accurate HR records
  • Assist with policy updates in line with Fair Work and employment legislation
  • Maintain HR process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide support across broader HR projects and ad hoc activities

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR / WHS Advisor role, ideally within a production, manufacturing or operational environment
  • Hands-on experience managing workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes end-to-end
  • Solid working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and Fair Work requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels
  • Proficient in Google Suite and HR management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
