Dispatch - Team Member

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Dispatch Team in a casual capacity, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.

About the Role

This position plays a key role in ensuring that our customer orders are dispatched accurately, efficiently, and on time. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of dispatch and warehouse duties, including but not limited to:

  • Logging and scanning completed customer orders in preparation for dispatch
  • Picking and packing orders with a high level of accuracy
  • Labelling and preparing consignments for transport
  • Coordinating with courier services and transport providers
  • Loading and unloading goods, ensuring safe handling at all times
  • Assisting with inventory accuracy and stocktakes
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional dispatch area
  • Supporting the purchasing and production teams as required
  • Performing general warehouse and housekeeping duties
  • Operating a forklift when necessary
What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Valid Forklift Licence
  • Strong computer literacy – as many tasks are system-driven and involve the use of digital tools
  • Excellent organisational skills – ability to prioritise tasks and follow procedures efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail – particularly when handling freight labelling and order checks
  • High personal standards – a commitment to cleanliness and the presentation of the dispatch area
  • Self-motivation and initiative – a proactive approach to completing tasks without the need for constant supervision

With strong foundations in both the Australian and U.S. markets, we continue to expand our reach, offering cutting-edge signage solutions to an ever-growing customer base across two continents.

As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a skilled Print Operator to join our dynamic team at our Smeaton Grange facility. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating our state-of-the-art HP Indigo Printer to produce high-quality print materials for our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operate and maintain the HP Indigo digital press to produce high-quality prints on a variety of small-format substrates, including paper, cardstock, and specialty materials.
  • Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot the HP Indigo press to ensure optimal print quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor print jobs throughout the production process to maintain consistent colour quality and accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the printer to ensure continuous, trouble-free operation.
  • Review job specifications, prepare files, and ensure correct materials and setup to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage print production schedules to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major problems to technical staff when necessary.
  • Keep accurate records of production and machine usage, including waste and ink consumption.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience operating digital printing presses, preferably with HP Indigo printers or similar digital press systems.
  • Strong understanding of small-format printing processes, colour management, and print materials.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
  • Familiarity with prepress software and file preparation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality prints.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in a print production environment is a plus.

As part of this exciting growth, we’re creating a new position for a Quality Assurance Officer to help us maintain and elevate our production standards across every stage of the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality checks at all stages of production from pre-press to final dispatch, ensuring products meet internal standards and customer specifications.
  • Identify quality issues or deviations early, document findings, and collaborate with relevant teams to investigate root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Maintain consistency in colour matching, ensure accurate reproduction of design files, and verify overall visual presentation to deliver a professional finished product.
  • Monitor production data to identify trends, reduce rework and material waste, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the QA process.
  • Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Graphic Design, and Innovation teams to resolve quality concerns and ensure raw materials, components, and finished products meet required standards.
  • Keep QA documentation, checklists, and inspection records up to date. Support internal and external audits or customer inspections by ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and industry standards.
  • Train or brief production staff on common quality issues, inspection processes, and best practices to improve consistency and build a quality-first mindset throughout the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in QA or production within signage, printing, or manufacturing
  • Understanding of print materials (vinyl, ACM, acrylic) and finishing processes
  • Familiarity with colour matching, job specs, and design file accuracy
  • Training in QA, manufacturing, or graphic production is a plus
  • Experience using quality systems and inspection tools
