Our WALLTEX™ material is printed in full digital colour, and can be easily removed, stored and used again and again! You can easily and quickly change your business promotion or bedroom graphic as often as you like - and you can install it yourself!

Most wall mural vinyls have a permanent adhesive and need to be installed by a professional installer - to avoid bubbles and creases. The WALLTEX™ material has a removable adhesive, and has been specially designed to be simple to install - so you can do it yourself instead of paying big money for professionals to install it. The lightly textured material gives the mural a beautiful matte finish and allows the bubbles and creases to be easily smoothed out with your finger.

And one of the best things about it? If you have any problems during installation, you can just remove it and start all over again!

WALLTEX™ Installation Made Simple

Step 1: Choose your spot

• Apply to smooth, dry, clean surfaces like walls, windows or doors. It will not adhere to textured or rougher surfaces such as concrete or timber.
• Ensure painted walls are properly primed and haven’t been painted in the last 40 days to allow for outgassing of the paint to prevent bubbling
• Avoid areas above fireplaces or surfaces painted with Teflon or wash and wear paints.

Step 2: Clean the Surface

• Use a warm, damp cloth to clean the wall surface or window and let it dry completely.
• Avoid the use of cleaning agents that may leave a residue.

Step 3: Peel and Stick

• For larger murals, having two people installing it can make the process easier
• Peel back about 150mm of the backing paper (avoid the advesive sticking together) and apply the top of the exposed advesive to the surface
• Continue peeling and smoothing downwards in small increments, using a felt squeegee to eliminate bubbles as you go.
• If there are any bubbles or wrinkles, you can lightly press or smooth them out, or just peel back that area and re-apply it.

Pro Tips:

• If bubbles appear within days of installation, gently rub or press them out, or use a pin to release trapped air.
• In the rare instance that bubbles keep reappearing, try moving to another area, as there is likely something preventing the adhesive from sticking eg cleaning chemical residue remains, wall was painted in the last 40 days.
• Always reapply the mural to its original backing paper when not in use to maintain adhesive quality. Dust or dirt sticking to the advesive will make it less effective.
