What is the difference between Uncoated and Coated Stock?
The prime difference between Uncoated and Coated stock is that Uncoated stock relies on paper pulp for its material makeup to provide that unique tactile feel, whilst Coated stock uses a composite of paper pulp and a slurry of additives to produce the coated look and feel.
Can I get different Lamination for my Postcards?
Coated Postcards come with complimentary Matte Lamination, on one side or both. This is the only finish we offer, and it is not available on uncoated stock.
Why would I only get one side Laminated?
We recommend that you select only one side to be laminated, when you would like to write on the other side. The unlaminated side can be written on with a ballpoint pen.
What does a Matte Lamination on my Postcards look like?
You have the option to select a Matte Lamination on both sides or on the front only. If you plan on writing on the reverse side of your postcard we recommend selecting Matte Lamination front only to make writing on the back of the Postcard easier.

The Matte Lamination provides a subtle and more sophisticated look to your graphics and will absorb light making your Postcard easier to read in well lit areas. The Matte Lamination can make some darker colours look slightly duller.
What is Spot Gloss UV Coating?
Spot Gloss UV Coating or Spot UV Coating is a printing technique where a high-gloss UV coating is applied to specific areas of a printed item. This method is often used to highlight particular elements, such as a logo, by making only that area glossy and raised, thereby drawing attention to it.
Do you offer any other printing embellishments?
We currently offer Laminations and Spot Gloss UV Coating, however we do not offer additional embellishments such as foiling or embossing.
Do you offer offset or litho printing processes?
We do not offer traditional lithographic offset printing. Although by printing with our Ricoh Pro C9500 Printer we can match or even exceed offset quality, allowing your prints to be used interchangeably with offset printing.
How are the Postcards packed for delivery?
Our Postcards are carefully packed inside our cardboard mailer boxes and inserted into a mail satchel to ensure they arrive undamaged at your door!
I have multiple designs, are there extra setup fees?
Yes, our price includes the set up cost for 1 design only. If you have multiple designs for the same size you will still get the lower bulk price, however there is a small multiple artwork charge applied for each additional design to cover our extra set up costs. Simply enter the total number of signs required and then the total number of designs into the pricing calculator above - and it will work out an accurate price for you.

Our Postcards are made from paper materials and are 100% recyclable* even after printing. They can be easily recycled into any household recycling bin.
