• How long will my order for Premium Custom Hoodies take to produce?

  We can produce your order in as little as 24 hours after artwork proof sign off:

  For Hoodie colours and sizes stocked in-house (Black - Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large):

  < 20 units - 24 hours (1 working day) after artwork proof sign off

  < 50 units - 48 hours (2 working days) after artwork proof sign off and receipt of deposit if order is over $3300 inc GST

  < 100 units - 3 working days after artwork proof sign off and receipt of deposit

  < 200 units - 4 working days after artwork proof sign off and receipt of deposit
  
< 300 units - 5 working days after artwork proof sign off and receipt of deposit

  For Hoodie colours NOT stocked in-house and approved BEFORE 11am:

  < 20 units - 72 hours (3 working days) after artwork proof sign off

  < 50 units - 4 working days after artwork proof sign off and receipt of deposit if order is over $3300 inc GST
  
< 100 units - 5 working days after artwork proof sign off and receipt of deposit

  < 200 units - 6 working days after artwork proof sign off and receipt of deposit

  < 300 units - 7 working days after artwork proof sign off and receipt of deposit

  For Hoodie colours NOT stocked in-house and approved AFTER 11am:

  < 20 units - 4 working days after artwork proof sign off

• Do you have a size guide for Hoodies?

  Hoodie Sizes

  • Extra Small, body width 540mm, body length 680mm.
  • Small, body width 570mm, body length 705mm.
  • Medium, body width 600mm, body length 730mm.
  • Large, body width 630mm, body length 755mm.
  • Extra Large, body width of 660mm, body length of 780mm.
  • 2X Large, body width 690mm, body length 805mm.

• How do I wash my Hoodies:

  Hoodies should be machine washed inside out on a cold cycle and line dried in the shade as you would with a normal coloured cycle. Do not bleach, tumble dry, dry clean or use fabric softener. Avoid ironing directly onto the print. If ironing is needed, turn the Hoodie inside out or cover the print in parchment paper.

• Is there a minimum order limit for Hoodies?

  No, there’s no minimum order. You can order just one Hoodie! We encourage you to enter your quantity into the pricing calculator above to see our bulk pricing options.

• What is Direct to Film (DTF) printing?

  Direct to Film Printing or DTF is a digital printing method which allows for designs to be printed on a special PET film material which is then coated with a heat-activated powder to then end up being Heat pressed onto fabrics.

• Do you offer Direct to Garment (DTG) printing, Screen Printing or Embroidery?

  Not at this stage. We currently print our Apparel range using Direct to Film (DTF) printing, which gives you vibrant, full colour graphics with crisp detail on all Apparel.

• What file formats do you accept for Custom Apparel Printing?

  For best results, please supply your artwork as a vector PDF. We also accept native Adobe Illustrator (.ai) and Encapsulated PostScript (.eps) files. Vector files can be scaled to any size without losing quality, and they make sure the white ink under base lines up exactly with your design.

  We also accept .png and .tiff files, as long as they are set up at a minimum of 300 DPI at the actual print size and have a 100% transparent background.

  Please note that we can’t use .jpg, .webp or Microsoft Office files (such as .docx or .pptx) for production. These formats don’t support transparency or they compress the image, which reduces print quality.

• Can I print on the Sleeves or Upper Back area?

  As of this time, we are only offering printing for the Full Front, Full Back or Left/Right Chest of the Hoodies.

• What size limits apply to my artwork?

  Maximum Size: Full Front finished print size is 300mm W x 250mm H. Full Back finished print size is 300mm W x 400mm H. This ensures full graphic coverage while remaining safely within heat press platen limits and avoiding edge cold spots.
  
  Minimum Overall Graphic Footprint: 30mm W x 10mm H. Standalone graphics smaller than this drop below minimum adhesive powder coverage thresholds and risk corner peeling during washing.

• What line weights, font sizes, and details can be printed?

  To guarantee long-term wash durability and crisp detail, standalone unbacked artwork must meet the following technical limits:

  Stroke / Line Thickness: Minimum 6 pt (2.12 mm). While the physical printing minimum is 1.4 pt (0.5 mm), requiring 6 pt provides a 4 x safety buffer to ensure sufficient adhesive powder bonding.

  Font Height: Minimum 10 pt (3.5 mm). This prevents letter counters (the closed spaces inside letters like e, a, and o) from clogging with ink or adhesive powder.

  Isolated Elements & Symbols: Minimum 5 mm diameter. Standalone dots, stars, or fine legal mark symbols (such as Copyright © or Trademark ™) smaller than 5 mm do not hold enough adhesive area and will wash off easily.

  Pro-Tip for Micro Details & Fine Text: If your logo or text falls below these direct-print limits, you can add a solid background shape or outer stroke behind the graphic (the "sticker cut" method). The solid backing guarantees 100% adhesive coverage so you can print fine details as small as visually desired without peeling.

• Can I print trademarked logos, famous characters, or brand marks?

  By submitting artwork, logos, text, or designs for printing, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the sole legal owner or have received explicit, written authorisation from the copyright or trademark owner to reproduce the material.
  • The design does not violate any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.
     

  Easy Signs does not verify the legality, licensing, or ownership of customer-submitted files. By placing an order, you agree to assume full legal and financial responsibility for any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from the unauthorised reproduction of protected intellectual property.

  We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or halt any print job at our discretion if we suspect a violation of copyright or trademark laws.

• How do you handle white ink in artwork?

  Our printer automatically adds white ink behind every shape and pixel in your design. Transparent areas get no white ink.
  
  Want an area with no white ink? 

  • Vector files (PDF, AI, EPS): Delete that shape so the area is empty.
  • Flat files (PNG, TIFF): Make sure the area is transparent.

  
  Want white to show in your design? 

  • White ink prints underneath your colours, so make sure nothing is layered on top of the white parts.
• How do screen colours compare to printed fabric colours?

  The colours on your screen may look slightly different from your printed product. Screens display colour using light (RGB), while our printers use ink (CMYK). For DTF, that ink is printed onto film and then heat pressed onto the fabric.

  The colour of the fabric can also affect the final result. Designs printed on darker fabrics sit on a white ink under base, so shades can look slightly different from the same design printed on white fabric.

  We aim to match your colours as closely as possible, but we can’t guarantee an exact match between your screen and the printed fabric.

• What If I want a colour you don’t currently stock?

  Our standard range is limited to the colours shown on our website. For large quantity orders, we may be able to source extra colours on request. Contact our Customer Happiness Team with the colour and quantity you need, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

  We’re also adding new colours to our range all the time, so tell us if there’s a colour you’d like to see!

• Can I remove the tag off the Hoodies?

  Yes, AS Colour Relax Hoodies have tags that can be ripped off for the purpose of adding your own branded tags to the Hoodies.

• Will there be positioning variances between each garment?

  Yes, especially for hoodies with different sizes and the same artwork. We will try our best for the artwork position to be the same across all items, but some variances are to be expected as different sized garments affect how the artwork is positioned on the garment.

• Can you supply the Apparel without any print?

  Unfortunately not. As an AS Colour decorator, we can only supply AS Colour products with your design printed on them, so we’re unable to sell blank, unprinted items.

• I have multiple designs, are there extra setup fees?
  Yes, our price includes the set up cost for 1 design only. If you have multiple designs for the same size you will still get the lower bulk price, however there is a small multiple artwork charge applied for each additional design to cover our extra set up costs. Simply enter the total number of signs required and then the total number of designs into the pricing calculator above - and it will work out an accurate price for you.

Give your Premium Custom Hoodie a second life!

Heads up: DTF ink can’t be recycled, but your Premium Custom Hoodie definitely doesn’t belong in landfill! When you’re ready to part ways, here’s how to keep the cosy going:

• Donate it! Drop it at your local op shop (Salvos, Vinnies, Red Cross, Lifeline). 
• Recycle it! Worn-out Premium Custom Hoodies can go to Upparel’s textile recycling program.
• Find a drop-off near you! Check Planet Ark’s RecyclingNearYou.com.au for textile bins and collection events in your area.
• Hoodies of all kinds are always in demand when the weather cools down!

 

Never put clothing in your yellow-lid recycling bin. It’ll contaminate the load!
