The Stackable Cubes have an interlocking system of tabs and slots which allows you to quickly join them together to form a cube. They also come with 2 slots cut out of the bottom edge of all 4 sides so they can be locked onto the top of the cube below (at a 45 degree angle to the cube below - as shown in the gallery photos).
The Stackable Cubes are scored (half cut) to allow them to fold. It should be noted that this fold is visible on all 4 edges of the cubes where you will see the white flute, or kraft flute if that material is selected. It will appear as a line running down each corner of the cubes - as you can see in the photos in the gallery.
Yes, this is fully printable and included in the template.
As the Stackable Cubes are designed for internal use, the full colour digital print will last indefinitely. If used outdoors the UV will cause some fading over time.
The Stackable Cubes can theoretically be stacked as high as you want. We have tested them to a height of around 1500mm and recommend that, if you stack them higher than this, you might use an internal support to ensure they do not topple over.
These do not join together, but instead sit on top of each other. This allows freedom of movement and removes the 45-degree angle limit that cubes without lids have.
While our Stackable Cubes are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, we recommend them for use indoors as they are a very light product and would be affected by any wind. The Cardboard materials will also need to be kept away from any water as they are not waterproof.
The notches on the bottom of the Stackable Cubes are the following heights:
300mm x 300mm size: 15mm notch height
400mm x 400mm size: 15mm notch height
500mm x 500mm size: 24mm notch height
580mm x 580mm size: 28mm notch height
No, the lid acts as a flat surface for the cubes to sit on, so no notches are needed with this option.
Yes, our price includes the set up cost for 1 design only. If you have multiple designs for the same size you will still get the lower bulk price, however there is a small multiple artwork charge applied for each additional design to cover our extra set up costs. Simply enter the total number of signs required and then the total number of designs into the pricing calculator above - and it will work out an accurate price for you.
Our Cardboard Cubes are made from FSC-certified cardboard materials and are 100% recyclable even after printing. They can be easily recycled into any household recycling bin. The Signflute™ material is identified as a category 5 product and most councils will offer to recycle these products, please check with your local council on how to do so.

All Cardboard and Signflute™ waste that is created throughout the printing process at Easy Signs is recycled, and the ink cartridges use cardboard Eco-Cartons rather than the traditional plastic cartridges which reduces plastic by 80% and CO₂e by 66% in ink production and transportation. Plus, this makes the cartridges recyclable too, further reducing waste!
We also utilise the HP Recycling Program where all of our HP Latex printhead consumables are recycled with HP and used to make new printer components.
Signflute™ corrugated plastic has been specifically developed to match the demands of the new high speed flatbed printers and inks.
The corrugated plastic material needed to improve at the same rate as the printers to ensure maximum adhesion of the ink to the substrate. The older styles of corrugated plastic were found to be unsuitable for these high tech flatbed printers. They did not have the adhesive properties required - so the ink would just crack and fall off them after a short time!
Our exhaustive testing of many brands of corrugated plastic has shown that Signflute™ corrugated plastic - with its smooth surface and very high dyne levels - provides us with the highest quality print results and ink adhesion.
Easy Signs has installed the first HP Latex R2000 flatbed printer in the Southern Hemisphere.
The R2000 flatbed printer is a 6 colour flatbed printer which provides more vibrant colours and sharper print quality than conventional flatbed printers. Using the latest Latex printing process with water based inks, it provides glossier prints with greater scratch resistance and no UV smell!
