The artwork is printed on one side of the Arch Banner so you see the correct image and colour on that side. The other side of the Arch Banner will display the mirror image of the artwork and the colour will have less vibrancy (as the printed image has bled through from the other side of the Arch Banner).
Our Arch Banners are printed on our high quality 120gsm SignWeave™ polyester fabric.
Our Arch Banners are printed using the dye sublimation process which provides a high quality print and vibrant colours.
When used internally (i.e. out of the sun and weather) these Flags will last indefinitely.
When used outdoors the dye sublimation print will fade over time and the amount of fading will depend on the amount of UV the Arch Banner is exposed to. As an indication we would expect the Arch Banners to last 6 - 12 months before noticeably fading but this could vary depending on the conditions the Arch Banners are exposed to. Arch Banners left out in harsh conditions are more likely to fade within 3 months of use.
It should be noted that Arch Banners supplied by other suppliers in Australia will last for the same amount of time as they are all printed with the same dye sublimation process.
The sleeve is the pocket that that pole slides into and is created using a strong fabric. We can use either black or white material for this part. Most people try to match it with the artwork, if the background is white they would select a white sleeve and vice versa. If your Arch Banner isn’t white or black it comes down to personal preference.
We recommend that you use a steamer to remove any creases from the polyester fabric. It’s also possible to use a warm iron, but it is important that you use an ironing cloth so that the iron does not make contact with the fabric.
The Cross Base & Water Bag is finished with chrome plating and has 4 legs that fold out and back together so, when it is folded up it is very compact. When used with a filled 10 kg Water Bag, it provides good stability for our flags.
The new Premium Cross Base has 2 x 50mm wide black powdercoated steel plates that are in an “X” shape and are then folded back together for transportation. The base is 825mm wide so provides great stability on hard surfaces. The 2 plates also have 10mm holes in each end, so you can attach 4 tent pegs through the holes to provide excellent stability on non-solid surfaces. The powdercoated finish provides this base with greater longevity when exposed to the elements.
The Heavy Duty Ground Spike is longer and thicker than the standard Ground Spike, and is designed to be used for longer periods of time.
When assembling your Arch Banner we recommend to be mindful of its surroundings. To help minimise any damage it is best to make sure that your Arch Banner is placed in a way so that it is clear of buildings, bushes, sharp topped fences and other objects both when it is still and when it swivels in the wind as it is designed to do. This will help to avoid wear and tear and elongate the lifespan of your Arch Banner.
It is possible, however we can only guarantee our bases will fit our own poles.
You are able to add an optional carry bag to your order for easy transportation and storage of your pole set. Simply select “I would love one” from the Carry Bag dropdown when getting a quote and placing your order.
Yes, our price includes the set up cost for 1 design only. If you have multiple designs for the same size you will still get the lower bulk price, however there is a small multiple artwork charge applied for each additional design to cover our extra set up costs. Simply enter the total number of signs required and then the total number of designs into the pricing calculator above - and it will work out an accurate price for you.
Our colour management system ensures that all of our printers print the correct colour every time.
As part of our colour management system, we have profiled all of our printers and materials to print to the ISO12647 colour standard. We also implement weekly colour checks on all printers to ensure the accuracy of the colours we are printing for our customers.
This makes sure that your colours are printed perfectly - for every order.
