Because they’re made from soft fabric, your banner can be folded up neatly for travel without risking creases or damage. Simply iron or steam before your event for a perfectly smooth finish.
We offer a range of finishing options to suit your display setup — choose rod pockets for hanging from ceilings, eyelets for easy mounting indoors or outdoors, or velcro edges for quick attachment to walls and backdrops. You can even request a simple hemmed edge if you’d like to stretch and pin your banner in place.
The Economy Fabric Banner is a 120gsm polyester material with a gloss sheen. As it is a thinner material it has some transparency which allows better ink bleed through, so the print will be seen in reverse on the other side. The Premium Fabric Banner is a 250gsm polyester material with a matte finish. It is a thicker material with minimal transparency so it has very little ink bleed through. Both materials are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, however we recommend the Premium material for indoor use because of the matte finish and lack of transparency which reduces lighting glare and provides better indoor photographic results.
We expect both the Premium and Economy Fabric Banners to last for similar lengths of time.
We are sorry but we do not manufacture double sided Fabric Banners. It is possible to use 2 of the Premium Fabric Banners back to back, although there could be some bleed through of colour from one banner to the other (as this material is not a blockout material). The Economy Fabric Banners are much more transparent so are not suitable for this purpose.
The maximum size we can manufacture in one piece is 2700mm H x 10,000mm W (this is reduced to 2600mm H if supplied with 100mm rod pockets on top and bottom).
We offer 3 sizes of Rod Pockets to fit 20mm, 50mm and 100mm Diameter Rods:
20mm Diameter Rod - 35mm Lay Flat Rod Pocket
50mm Diameter Rod - 85mm Lay Flat Rod Pocket
100mm Diameter Rod - 160mm Lay Flat Rod Pocket
You will need to consider your individual circumstances to work out the most suitable rod size as we do not supply any rods. We can advise that the most common size used by our customers is 19mm diameter dowel which is readily available from stores such as Bunnings.
All of our Fabric Banners are printed using the dye sublimation process which provides a high quality print and vibrant colours.
When used internally (i.e. out of the sun and weather) they will last indefinitely.
When used outdoors the dye sublimation print will fade over time and the amount of fading will depend on the amount of UV the banner is exposed to. As an indication we would expect them to last 6 - 12 months before noticeably fading but this could vary depending on the conditions they are exposed to. Fabric Banners left out in harsh conditions are more likely to fade within 3 months of use.
It should be noted that polyester Fabric Banners supplied by other suppliers in Australia will last for the same amount of time as they are all printed with the same dye sublimation process.
We recommend that you use a steamer to remove any creases from the polyester fabric. It’s also possible to use a warm iron, but it is important that you use an ironing cloth so that the iron does not make contact with the fabric.

If eyelets are selected as a finishing option, you can then choose the eyelet configuration from 7 options. Eyelets will be placed according to your choice on the drop down menu.
The velcro hook strip is 50mm wide.
The Fabric Banners are sewn around the perimeter with 3 layers of the material to provide extra strength for the eyelets. The eyelets should not rip through these 3 layers when the banners are used in normal weather conditions. It should be noted that no banners should be left outdoors during extreme weather conditions.
Due to our Banners being sewn/hemmed by hand, there is a 2-3% variance in the size of what is ordered.
Yes, our price includes the set up cost for 1 design only. If you have multiple designs for the same size you will still get the lower bulk price, however there is a small multiple artwork charge applied for each additional design to cover our extra set up costs. Simply enter the total number of signs required and then the total number of designs into the pricing calculator above - and it will work out an accurate price for you.
