With the exception of the Reflective Vinyls, all materials can be printed up to 1300mm wide x 5000mm long. When larger sizes are required we can print the graphic in multiple pieces and include a 5mm overlap on each join.
The Reflective Vinyls have a maximum size of 1190mm wide x 5000mm long.
The number of years stated for the vinyl lifespan relates to the actual unprinted vinyl itself - as specified by the vinyl manufacturers. This is the time they expect the vinyl to last before it starts to deteriorate. The number of years stated in the product names is our estimate of how long we expect the digitally printed vinyl to last - and this has been estimated based on the expected vinyl lifespan as well as the expected lifespan of the digital print. This time is an estimate only and will vary depending on the environmental conditions the digitally printed vinyl is exposed to.
The grey backed vinyl is often referred to in the industry as a “blockout” vinyl. This is a slight misnomer as it does not provide a full blockout for the sun - however, if it is applied over the top of an existing colour, it will block out a large amount of that colour. The white backed vinyl will allow much more of that colour to show through. For this reason the grey backed vinyl is most suitable for applying over the top of existing signage.
We only supply the range of Large Format Stickers in square or rectangular shape and do not offer any other custom shapes. For other shapes of stickers you can refer to our Custom Stickers page.
We individually die cut the range of Large Format Sticker products - and do not offer these products kiss cut.
As the name suggests, it means that the material does not contain any PVC. It is also free of chlorine, phthalates or other halogens.
Products in this range are more sustainable versions than traditional PVC products. PVC Free material is an effective solution for customers seeking to improve their environmental footprint.
The anti-graffiti lamination is a clear overlaminating film that is applied over the digitally printed vinyl and protects durable images against permanent damage from graffiti, paints and UV light. Most commercially available graffiti removal fluids will allow the removal of graffiti without damaging the lamination. Standard vinyl laminations are slightly porous and absorb some of the graffiti - making it extremely difficult to completely remove it. The anti-graffiti lamination is a polyester material which is not porous - so will not absorb the graffiti - and is also much tougher than vinyl so is much more resistant to abrasion.

Our Engineer Grade materials do not have any tool lines. Our Premium Prismatic materials do have small tool lines that are a characteristic of the material and cannot be removed. They are small light lines caused by the prismatic technology used to create the material and should be no more than 1mm thick. They will not impact the performance of the product nor be noticeable from a distance. It is important to note that all prismatic materials will have these lines.
Our Engineer Grade materials comply with the ATSM D 4956 standards. Our Brilliant Grade Premium Prismatic materials meet the AS/NZS 1960.1 standards when laminated using our Brilliant Grade Reflective laminate. Please note that a requirement of this standard is to have the material code as a small watermark on the product. This can be printed over but will still be visible. We recommend that you independently check your local government restrictions to ensure that any reflective product fits any road or work use requirements.
The decision whether to add a lamination will depend on whether it is available for your product (if so, it will show as an option in the pricing calculator) and how you are using the vinyl. The lamination is a clear vinyl applied over the top of the vinyl. It provides the digital print with protection from abrasion and chemicals and also provides extra UV protection (should provide around 12 months additional life for the digital print). It is recommended for digitally printed vinyl which could be subjected to mechanical damage, for vehicle signage (other than bumper stickers), or for more permanent external applications. For some products there is a choice of matte or gloss lamination - and this comes down to your personal preference for a matte or gloss finish.
Due to the nature of the vinyl material and the heat produced during our Latex printing process, the final sticker size can vary up to 1% larger from what is ordered.
We recommend that you use our Gloss White premium (3 years) vinyl without lamination for bumper stickers.
