• How does our Window Clings work?

  The best way to describe the Window Cling technology is that it’s a micro suction adhesive which is removable and can be repositioned for smooth surface applications. It is also washable should it get dirty or dusty.

• How do I install a Window Cling?

  ​Please note: Any tiny speck of dust, hair, or grease will create a permanent bubble under your cling.

  1) Clean the surface thoroughly

  • Spray the window with glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol.
  • Wipe it completely dry with a lint-free microfibre cloth. Avoid paper towels, as they leave tiny fibres behind.


  2) Wet the Window

  • Lightly mist the cleaned glass with your soapy water solution. (Why do this? The water prevents the cling from instantly sticking to the glass, allowing you to slide it around and reposition it perfectly.)

  3) Peel the Backing

  • Carefully peel the window cling away from its paper or plastic backing liner.
  • Tip: Try to handle the cling by the very edges to avoid leaving fingerprints on the side going against the glass. If it’s a large cling, have a friend help you peel it so it doesn’t fold over and stick to itself.

  4) Position the Cling

  • Apply the cling to the wet window, starting from the top and letting it drape down.
  • Because the glass is wet, you can slide the cling around until it’s perfectly straight and exactly where you want it.

  5) Squeegee Out the Water and Air

  • Mist the outside (front) of the cling with a little soapy water so your squeegee glides smoothly without scratching the design.
  • Starting from the centre and pushing outward, use your squeegee or credit card to press out the trapped water and air bubbles.
  • Work your way from the inside out, squeegeeing in overlapping strokes toward the top, bottom, and sides.

  6) Dry and Trim

  • Use your microfibre cloth to gently wipe up the excess water pushed out from the edges.
  • If your cling requires precise fitting, use a sharp utility knife to trim away any excess material along the window frame.
  • Let it dry completely. As the moisture evaporates, the static bond will lock tightly into place.
• Do I need water or a tool to apply them?

  If you don’t have access to the soapy water or squeegee mentioned above when installing, you can easily install these graphics dry, guided by your hands or another flat object.

• Will they cling to non-glass surfaces?

  Whilst they are ideal for glass windows and doors, our Window Clings adhere securely to almost any smooth, non-porous surface using advanced micro-suction technology including mirrors, acrylic, polished metal, bench tops, laminates and other smooth finished surfaces.

• Can I clean my Window Cling?

  Window Cling can be cleaned with either plain warm water, or warm soapy water.

• Will they fall off in hot or cold weather?

  Window Cling is predominately designed for indoor use in hot and/or cold weather.

• Are they waterproof or UV-resistant?

  Yes, these are waterproof and UV-resistant allowing them to be exposed to sunlight.

• Can I use them outdoors?

  They can be used outdoors however, they are predominately designed for indoor use.

• Will they cling to tinted or frosted glass?

  We cannot guarantee that this will cling directly to your pre-existing tinted or frosted material.

• Are they safe for car windows?

  Yes! Window Clings are used regularly internally on cars, specifically for ride share advertising. Externally they are used in stationary environments to advertise sales and special offers.
